Fried Bihun & Vermicelli Soup

Two nights in a row, hubby cooked a simple yet satisfying meal for two for dinner.

1st night:- Fried Bihun with eggs, sawi, taugeh, prawns, fishballs, mushrooms & minced pork. I had a serving of 10 of the portion above. It was really good and i am a very big fan of fried bihun. The bihun used was a special bihun made of yam flour and it's texture was firm and springy. Very tasty!  :-P

2nd night:- Vermicelli Soup with loads of minced pork. Yummy yummy! Hubby took a long time to prepare this simple looking dish as he slow fry the garlic until it turned golden brown as you can see in the picture above. Then he fried the eggs and mushrooms before adding water, sawi, the minced pork and prawns in stages. Lastly he let the vermicelli cooked for a good 30 seconds and it's ready. ;-)
